If you believe everything you read, you might feel like getting pregnant naturally over 40 is impossible or only happens to a lucky few. In reality, it's quite common for women to get pregnant at older ages. The rate of unexpected pregnancies in women over 40 is second only to teenagers!

I truly believe I was not a “victim” of infertility. When you see yourself as a victim, you automatically think there isn’t anything you can do to change your situation. Where I am today is the cumulative effect of my past choices. It was my choice to delay childbearing, it was my choice to throw myself into my career, it was my choice to lead a stressful lifestyle. All of these things ultimately affected my ability to get pregnant.

Assume Responsibility For Your Fertility - You Are In Control Of Your Body, Not The Doctors!
Fertility Bracelets/Pregnancy Bracelets, click here

On the other hand, it was my choice to assume responsibility for my fertility. I finally realized that I was in control of my body, not the doctors! My natural journey to pregnancy has proved to me, once again, that with the right knowledge and commitment, you can achieve anything in life.

When I was trying to get pregnant over the age of 40, I ran into so much negativity, I thought it would be helpful to share my story with others who were also trying. I am living proof that it can be done. I got pregnant naturally at 43 and 11 months with only one fallopian tube and had a baby at 44. I hope my story inspires you in an otherwise seemingly hopeless situation. Infertility is one of the most difficult challenges I have faced in my life. What I didn’t know in the beginning of my journey that I do know now is I had more control over my fertility than I was led to believe by the medical professionals.

When it came to fertility treatments, I found the most effective treatment was no treatment! I’m not saying there isn’t a place for assisted reproductive technologies, but if you fall into the unexplained category and you’re older in reproductive terms, you may get pregnant naturally. Most natural methods of enhancing fertility are extremely good for your body, mind, and soul. In retrospect, my journey through infertility has actually improved my health and forced me to confront much of my past that acted as a roadblock to my success (not just in having a child but in all aspects of my life).

I have had bouts of tinnitus over the years and I can say from experience, it is a very annoying problem. It's hard to concentrate with all of this background noise. However, pregnancy can make it more likely that you will experience this condition. You may be wondering why it happens and if there is anything you can do about the ringing in your ears in pregnancy. This article explains more:
Is Ringing Ears During Pregnancy A Common Phenomena?
By Kevin Cordahl
Pregnancy is an exciting time for an expectant mother, although it can also be one of the most stressful due to the radical
Stork Pregnancy and Fertility Necklace
changes taking place within the body. As the body changes, strange and sometime unusual phenomena may take place. One such phenomena is a medical condition known as tinnitus, also
referred to as ringing in the ears. Tinnitus, or ringing in the ears, does not only affect pregnant women, worldwide one in five individual are affected by the condition. However, in pregnant women, tinnitus takes on a more troubling dimension because it seems to come from out of nowhere and can be a frightening experience for those who never experienced it. For those who have experienced tinnitus in the past, pregnancy seems to heighten the severity, frequency and duration of the annoying sounds. Needless to say, with the many already aggravations of pregnancy from the morning sickness to the mental doubts, ringing in the ears is an unwelcome presence.
Aspects of Pregnancy Leading to Tinnitus
So, what exactly brings on the ringing ears during pregnancy? Scientific research on the subject has revealed the following connections:
  • High blood pressure has been known to cause or to intensity tinnitus. In pregnant women, blood pressure levels can become elevated and lead to hypertension.
  • The increased levels of emotional and physical stress, coupled with the fatigue experienced by pregnant women also heighten awareness and brings on episodes of tinnitus. It appears that the expectant mothers increased sensitivity to her surroundings also makes her more sensitive to the triggers that cause tinnitus.
  • Depression is common in expectant and new mothers, which is known as pre and postpartum depression. Unfortunately, this medical condition has been known to lead to tinnitus among susceptible individuals.
  • The use of anti-depression drugs have also been known to trigger tinnitus
For some women, the ringing in the ears they experienced during pregnancy does not stop after the baby has been delivered. New mothers are constantly under emotional and physical stress caring for a newborn. Stress is one of the leading causes of tinnitus; therefore, experiencing tinnitus after the baby is born is not an unusual occurrence.
Safe Treatments
Fortunately, there is good news for tinnitus sufferers including expectant mothers. Ringing in the ears can be significantly lessened in intensity, severity and duration, if not completely eliminated during and after pregnancy. Since expectant mothers have to think of the unborn baby, they must seek medical advice before taking any medication to reduce the affects of tinnitus. Your doctor is the best professional to perform diagnostic tests to determine and treat the causes of your tinnitus.

Adapting a healthy lifestyle will help you reduce the symptoms associate with tinnitus. This includes:
  • Avoid possible irritants like loud noises in the environment. Wearing ear plugs when around loud noises to block out loud sounds will help.
  • Use white noise to mask any ringing sounds you may be suffering from. White noise machines can be purchased; however, playing a radio or TV softly in the background is just as effective.
  • Take care of your heart's health. Taking care of your heart will help you avoid high blood pressure. Studies have shown that high blood pressure is one of the causes of tinnitus.
By talking to your doctor and taking the necessary step to prevent or cope with the ring in the ear sounds you hear during your pregnancy, you will be able to enjoy your pregnancy without the unwanted ringing sounds brought on by your pregnancy.
My name is Kevin Cordahl and I have been a tinnitus sufferer for many years. I have spent countless hours reading and studying everything published by top experts in the field of tinnitus. To learn more about tinnitus suffering and what can be done to reduce if not eliminate the constant ringing in your ears, check out my website here

Most people think getting pregnant over 40 is amazing, but what about getting pregnant over 50 with a natural conception? Can women get pregnant over 50 naturally? Yes, there are documented cases of women who had natural successful pregnancies in their 50's, many times by surprise. It's quite common for women to get pregnant over 40 naturally and some women who are still getting periods can be fertile in their 50's. Here are some published cases of remarkable women who had babies in their 50's without fertility treatments:

Case #1 Debbie Hughes, England
Elephant Charm Fertility Bracelet with Rose Quartz, Moonstone, Amethyst

What makes this case remarkable, as reported by the Daily Mail, is that Debbie got pregnant by surprise at the age of 53, and she was on the pill at the time. She also admits to a "once in a blue moon" love life! What are the odds of that? Her pregnancy had a fairytale ending too. She carried to
term and had a healthy baby after a natural delivery. At the time of her pregnancy she also had two grandchildren from her two grown kids. After delivering her baby, she said her motherly instinct kicked in right a way and her age just was not a factor (except to the doctors who, when finding out her age, automatically assumed she had donor eggs!)
Case #2 Dawn Brooke, England
This case was also reported by the Daily Mail. Dawn Brooke gave birth at the age of 59 and was said to have a natural conception without fertility treatments. She gave birth to a healthy baby boy who grew up to love math and Harry Potter! Case #3 Ruth Kistler
Ruth Kistler of Portland, Oregon gave birth to a daughter in Los Angeles, California, on October 18, 1956, at the age of 57. This was obviously before the days of fertility treatments!
Case #4 Anthea Burns
This case was reported by Australian media outlets. Anthea Burns conceived naturally and had a healthy baby boy at the age of 50. Her husband was 54. After being told a year earlier that she was in menopause, and her husband being told that he had “couch potato sperm” they spontaneously conceived their son.
Case #5 Giovanni Ciardi
This Italian woman amazed doctors by getting pregnant at 54 and having a successful pregnancy and a healthy baby girl. She was still having periods and thought the cessation of her menses was due to menopause. When she started feeling nauseous she suspected she might be pregnant.
Case #6 Arcelia Garcia
This 54 year old women and her 60 year old husband had triplets without the use of fertility drugs or fertility treatments. As reported by the LA Times, Ms. Garcia said, “to receive a child, no woman is too old”. Ms. Garcia considered her triplets a big wonderful surprise.
Case #7 Antonietta Mellone
This 52 year old woman give birth to triplets in Naples Italy. She did not use fertility treatments and a reporter at the Daily Mail could not find any records of fertility treatments. She also claims that pregnancy over 50 is not unusual for her family, her cousin had a baby at the age of 51!
Case #8 Kate Fezigha
This is another story of a 52 year old woman from Africa who had wanted children most of her married life and even tried to adopt without success. Just when she thought some strange symptoms were related to menopause, she found out she was pregnant.
Case #9 Morgan Zantua
According to, Morgan Zantua had a surprise pregnancy at the age of 51. "I was stunned," she says. "I have friends younger than I am who are grandparents, and here I was becoming a mom."

The Telegraph UK online interviewed Professor Kypros Nicolaides, a maternal-fetal medicine specialist in the UK. He told the the paper that his own grandmother had a child at 53, and he was quoted to say, ''The risks of late motherhood are completely exaggerated...There's an increased risk of Down's syndrome but the vast majority of women have normal babies at 40 and completely normal pregnancies.''

Saints For Fertility, Conception, Pregnancy and Getting Pregnant

I realize I have readers from all over the world who hold a whole host of religious beliefs. Although I certainly don't claim to be a religious scholar, I have done some research on the saints which can help women and couples struggling with infertility or who are having trouble getting pregnant. I said many prayers during the six years of trying to get pregnant and many of those prayers were directly to God and some were to saints.
Why should you pray to saints rather directly to God?

According to
Click here for Pregnancy/Fertility Saints Jewelry
In addition to our prayers directly to God and Jesus (which are absolutely essential to the Christian life), there are abundant reasons to ask our fellow Christians in heaven to pray for us. The Bible indicates that they are aware of our prayers, that they intercede for us, and that their prayers are effective (else they would not be offered). It is only narrow-mindedness that suggests we should refrain from asking our fellow Christians in heaven to do what we already know them to be anxious and capable of doing...
...Not only do those in heaven pray with us, they also pray for us. In the book of Revelation, John sees that "the twenty-four elders [the leaders of the people of God in heaven] fell down before the Lamb,

When I was trying to conceive over the age of 40, I was bombarded with all of the negative outcomes and statistics each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints" (Rev. 5:8). Thus the saints in heaven offer to God the prayers of the saints on earth.

It is usually recommended to read up on the life of a saint, so you understand their history and why they have reached sainthood. Stay calm and focused and find a quiet place where you will not be interrupted. Compose your own prayer in your own words. Speak from your heart. Conclude your prayer with "Amen".

Can non-Catholics and non-Christians pray to saints?

Yes, around the world, people are taught prayers and the Rosary even though they may not have been brought up Catholic or Christian. They report finding peace and comfort in these prayers. It is thought to be not just a benefit to them, but to the entire world.

Saint Anne

St. Anne was the Grandmother of Jesus Christ. She was the wife of Saint Joachim. St. Anne was quite elderly when Mary was born, and Mary was her only child. The belief that Anne remained a virgin in the conception and birth of Mary was condemned by the Vatican in 1677. Most sources say that Anne and her husband Joachim were married for 20 years and had no children, although they certainly wanted them. The legend suggests that Anne prayed that if she were given a child, she would dedicate it to the Lord's service. An angel came to Anne and told her she would conceive a child. They did have a child, again at an "elderly" age (although I can't seem to find how old she actually was) and of course named her Mary. Even though they longed for this child, when Mary was three, they brought her to the Temple of Jerusalem where they left her to be brought up. And, Mary became the mother of Jesus. Many infertile women and couples pray to St. Anne because not only did she succeed in getting pregnant after many years of wanting a child, but she also succeeded in having a baby at an older age.

Saint Mary

Mary was the mother of Jesus. She conceived Jesus while a virgin. She married Joseph and went with him to Bethlehem where Jesus was born. Her age when giving birth was unknown. The Angel Gabriel appear to her to announce that she was selected to be the mother of Jesus. Mary is frequently mentioned as "Our Lady of Perpetual Help". The title, Our Lady of Perpetual Help seems to have originated around the thirteenth century. Traditionally, the image is also known as “Our Lady of Perpetual Succour.” The icon depicts our Blessed Mother Mary, under the title “Mother of God,” holding the Child Jesus. The Archangels Michael and Gabriel, hovering in the upper corners, hold the instruments of the Passion– St. Michael (in the left corner) holds the spear, the wine-soaked sponge, and the crown of thorns, and St. Gabriel (in the right corner) holds the cross and the nails. In a very beautiful way, the Child Jesus grasps the hand of the Blessed Mother. He seeks comfort from His mother, as He sees the instruments of His passion. The position of Mary’s hands– both holding the Child Jesus and presenting Him to us– convey the reality of our Lord’s incarnation, that He is true God who became also true man. Many recorded miracles are attributed to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

Saint Rita of Cascia

Daughter of Antonio and Amata Lotti, a couple known as the Peacemakers of Jesus; they had Rita late in life.
From her early youth, Rita visited the Augustinian nuns at Cascia, Italy, and showed interest in a religious life. However, when she was twelve, her parents betrothed her to Paolo Mancini, an ill-tempered, abusive individual who worked as town watchman, and who was dragged into the political disputes of the Guelphs and Ghibellines. Disappointed but obedient, Rita married him when she was 18, and was the mother of twin sons. She put up with Paolo’s abuses for eighteen years before he was ambushed and stabbed to death. Her sons swore vengeance on the killers of their father, but through the prayers and interventions of Rita, they forgave the offenders. Upon the deaths of her sons, Rita again felt the call to religious life. However, some of the sisters at the Augustinian monastery were relatives of her husband’s murderers, and she was denied entry for fear of causing dissension. Asking for the intervention of Saint John the Baptist, Saint Augustine of Hippo, and Saint Nicholas of Tolentino, she managed to bring the warring factions together, not completely, but sufficiently that there was peace, and she was admitted to the monastery of Saint Mary Magdalen at age 36. Rita lived 40 years in the convent, spending her time in prayer and charity, and working for peace in the region. She was devoted to the Passion, and in response to a prayer to suffer as Christ, she received a chronic head wound that appeared to have been caused by a crown of thorns, and which bled for 15 years. Confined to her bed the last four years of her life, eating little more than the Eucharist, teaching and directing the younger sisters. Near the end she had a visitor from her home town who asked if she’d like anything; Rita’s only request was a rose from her family’s estate. The visitor went to the home, but it being January, knew there was no hope of finding a flower; there, sprouted on an otherwise bare bush, was a single rose blossom. Among the other areas, Rita is well-known as a patron of desperate, seemingly impossible causes and situations. This is because she has been involved in so many stages of life – wife, mother, widow, and nun, she buried her family, helped bring peace to her city, saw her dreams denied and fulfilled – and never lost her faith in God, or her desire to be with Him.

Saints for Pregnancy and Childbirth

In addition to St. Anne and St. Mary listed above, the following saints are associated with protecting a woman's pregnancy and helping in childbirth

St. Gerard Majella (Fertility and Pregnancy)

This humble servant of God also had faculties associated with certain mystics including, levitation, bi-location and the ability to read souls. His charity, obedience, and selfless service as well as his ceaseless mortification for Christ, made him the perfect model of lay brothers. Throughout his years of life, several reported miracles are tied to Majella including, restoring a boy's life after he fell from a high cliff; blessing a poor farmer's crops, ridding it of mice; blessing a poor family's supply of wheat, causing it to last until the next harvest; and he multiplied bread for the poor on several occasions.

St. Raymond Nonnatus

Raymond was born at Portella, Catalonia, Spain. He was delivered by caesarean operation when his mother died in childbirth. Hence his name non natus (not born). in 1239, he was appointed Cardinal by Pope Gregory IX, but died at Cardona a short distance from Barcelona the next year while on the way to Rome. He was canonized in 1657. He is the patron saint of expectant mothers and midwives because of the nature of his own birth. Although his mother died in labor, Raymond miraculously survived the ordeal.

Saint Dominic of Silos

One of the most beloved of Spanish saints, there were churches and monasteries dedicated to him as early as 1085, and the monastery he rebuilt is now known as Saint Dominic’s. Many miracles were attributed to his prayers after his death, especially with regard to pregnancy. Dominic’s abbatial staff was used to bless Spanish queens and was kept by their beds when they were in labour. Blessed Joan de Aza de Guzm├ín prayed at his shrine to conceive the child whom she called Dominic, after the abbot of Silos, and who founded the Order of Preachers (the Dominicans).

I am frequently asked, if you had to pick the top 5 things to do to enhance fertility and get pregnant over 40 (or any age), these would be my top 5:

The top 5 things you can do now to get pregnant over 40 naturally include:

1. Eat hormone regulating foods like cruciferous vegetables, leafy greens, blueberries, and nuts and avacados among others

2. Reduce stress - You've heard it all before, but there are scientific reasons that stress affects fertility. The stress hormone cortisol is manufactured when you are under stess and your body will take progesterone to make cortisol.

3. Self Pelvic massage to break small blockages and increase circulation

4. Meditation and Visualization to attract a baby into your life

5. Prepare your body by maintaining a healthy weight and examining your pattern of exercise.

Some women who are trying to conceive over the age of 40 are pushed into fertility treatments before they are given a chance to let nature take its course. It may take a little longer to get pregnant at older ages, but it is not impossible.

IVF Over 40? Not so Fast! When I was trying to conceive, I became the women's support group leader for my local infertility organization. I saw some very interesting results. Many of us got pregnant between treatment cycles! Here are some examples:

Two women were told their FSH was too high and their only chance of success was to consider an egg donor. One of these women got pregnant while looking for the egg donor, the other got pregnant while trying to save up enough money for the procedure(last time I saw her, she was about 8 months
Fertile Turtle Fertility/Pregnancy Bracelet and more click here
pregnant with her second!)

One woman (43) developed an ovarian cyst after being on fertility drugs. She was forced to take a break and got pregnant while on her "break" (she went on to have a normal pregnancy and delivered a healthy baby boy on her 44th birthday - a homebirth!)

One woman finally adopted and shortly thereafter got pregnant, had a healthy baby boy and is currently pregnant again (just saw her at her son's first birthday party!)

And...of course there's me, the "longshot" of the group - pregnant naturally with one tube and delivered normally at the age of 44.

It's interesting that a group of women labeled "infertile" (by the medical definition) turned out to be quite fertile indeed! The BBC news published an article (also on my website) that seems to raise the question of whether or not some couples are really infertile or perhaps just impatient: Undue IVF pressure put on couples (BBC News) So, if you're considering fertility treatments, maybe you should consider a little longer. The best treatment may be no treatment.

Do you really need IVF over the age of 40? I have known many women who got pregnant between treatment cycles when undergoing IVF. Obviously, I’m an advocate of conceiving naturally especially since I went through years of fertility treatments only to have my best success following an all-natural protocol. But, I’ve also read that among healthy couples with no known conditions associated with infertility, many who fail to conceive naturally within the first year will conceive naturally in the second year. Most women over 35 are told to “run not walk” to the closest fertility clinic – but the natural route may deserve a chance. There are other reasons to think twice before jumping into fertility treatments:

Higher Incidence of Abnormalities with IVF
From our Fertility Shop:  Elephant Moonstone Amethyst Rose Quartz Bracelet
In all fairness, I should start by saying that the vast majority of babies conceived through assisted
reproductive techniques are normal. However, I have read that there may be a higher incidence of certain birth defects, certain types of cancers, cognitive delays and possibly conditions like ADD and autism in babies conceived through IVF. Other sources dispute these findings, however it does make you stop and think about the risk. Most experts agree that more study needs to be done to find out if some abnormalities are due to the procedures themselves or if it might have something to do with the fact that people undergoing IVF probably have other anatomical/medical issues that could contribute to the findings. Women who have undergone IVF are also more likely to have C-Sections, premature delivery, and babies with low birth weight.

More Tubal Pregnancies with IVF

There is an increased risk of having a tubal pregnancy after IVF (something I know all too well since I had two). It’s difficult to know for sure why there is a higher incidence of tubal pregnancies with this procedure. It may be as a result of the type of catheter used during the embryo transfer, it may be a result of the embryo moving up into the tube from the uterus after the transfer, or it may be because the woman has some tubal scarring or other abnormality that might make the it difficult for the embryo to come back down into the uterus to implant. Whatever the reason, tubal pregnancies require immediate attention and frequently require surgery to remove the fallopian tube. Sometimes, a drug called methotrexate (which I received for my second ectopic) can be given if the tubal pregnancy is caught early

IVF and Lab Mix-Ups

I had an interesting incident when we first started going through fertility treatments and we were trying inseminations. I went in for my insemination after my husband gave his "donation". After signing in at the doctor's office, I waited and waited. The receptionist kept giving me these weird looks and after I waited an hour and a half, the doctor himself called me into his office. He sheepishly told me there was a "mix up" in the lab and they had to cancel my insemination. The nurse jokingly says, "We wouldn't want a baby that doesn't look anything like you, now would we?" I sat there somewhat stunned, thinking "EXCUSE ME?? You mean to tell me my husband's sperm is floating around in the wrong pipette? And even worse, some other guy's sperm was in my pipette?!" Well, in their defense, at least the lab technician admitted to the error. I really could have had someone else’s baby. I still wonder if my husband’s sperm was given to another woman. It's scary to think of all the mistakes that are microscopic and aren't known at the time.

If you've never heard of tapping, you are not alone. EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is also called tapping. This natural technique which you can perform yourself may help you get your mind and body in sync, reduce stress and help you conceive naturally
What is Emotional Freedom Technique and How Can it Help Me Get Pregnant?
By Gabriela Rosa
Several thousand years ago, the Chinese discovered a complex system of energy circuits, called energy meridians, running throughout the body. Meridians are the centerpiece of Eastern medicine and health practices. More recently, Western medicine has started to pay attention to energy flows and their effect on mental and physical health. Many therapeutic modalities ranging from acupuncture to kinesiology (muscle testing) work based on these principles.
Emotional Freedom Technique is best described as emotional acupuncture without needles. It also works extremely well for physical aspects, such as physical pain. EFT helps to "re-organise" the body
Customize your fertility/pregnancy bracelet, see our fertility & pregnancy shop
and mind, inducing relaxation, which enables a realignment of the body's energy systems.
Essentially EFT helps one see situations, and experiences with "fresh eyes", facilitating and being catalyst for a positive change. As it is able to cause powerful shifts in how one feels and behaves in various different circumstances. EFT does not change the way things are, but it does have a powerful effect on how "bothered" one gets about things. The best way to understand it is to experience it.
One of the greatest benefits of EFT is that it is a self applied, tapping technique based on the healing modalities of acupuncture, acupressure and kinesiology (yes, you tap certain points on your face and upper body and so what if you temporarily look a little bit silly - it works, that is what matters!). What these modalities have in common is that they all work to balance the system in different ways and you don't need to become a master in any of them in order to very simply, quickly and effectively master EFT for self use. In fact the founder of EFT Gary Craig suggests trying it on everything and with the results I have had in clinical practice over the years, I couldn't agree more.
It is worth applying EFT to whatever may be causing you discomfort right now. The likelihood is that with a little persistence you will see any uncomfortable or unsettling feelings disappear. EFT enables positive cognitive shifts, its genius is that you can pretty much pull up anything that bothers you and turn it "off" on purpose. It also modifies the anxiety/stress response, fostering positive body awareness.
I often see men and women in my practice that are distressed with different aspects and in different stages of their fertility journey, some really are at their wits' end and this technique is absolutely fabulous for helping to rebalance one's emotions.
Below you will see a case study with one of my patients and how EFT was able to help her address her fear of childlessness.
Case Study - Fear of Childlessness
(Result in 38 minutes)
Susie*, was a fertility patient who attended one of the EFT seminars with her husband Steve* because the workshop is a compulsory and also very important part of my in-house fertility program.
Susie volunteered to work at the front with me as an example for the group. And as she came up she said the thing she wanted to work on was her fear of not having a baby. Susie and Steve had been trying to conceive for a couple of years without having much luck and she was afraid it wasn't going to happen.
I started working with Susie on that and her aspects kept changing, so the fear that was at 10/10 was only very slowly going down. Then after a particular round something else popped up for her. She remembered that the fear stared when she was in high school and she remembered herself thinking that being childless was really scary. So we changed the wording for her and instead of saying "Even though I have this fear of not having a baby", we said "Even though I have this fear of childlessness" which to her meant growing old without a family.
And all of a sudden after a couple of rounds her intensity and anxiety about the whole thing was completely gone and testing, did not bring it back up. A follow up with her a week later and she still reported how great she felt about the idea of having a baby and even not having a baby, although of course she would still prefer to have a child. That gripping feeling had completely disappeared.
The most interesting part of all is that one month later Susie was pregnant! She had a great pregnancy and delivered a healthy baby girl.

How to End Your EFT Set-Up Phrase Effectively

How to End Your EFT Set-Up Phrase Effectively
By Andrew Wilkie
How can you make the EFT set-up phrase even more powerful for you?
An EFT tapping round normally begins with a set-up phrase. Out loud whilst tapping on your Karate Chop point, you would say 3 times:
Even though I have this _____________,I deeply and completely accept myself.
The EFT Manual details the following standard 2 endings.
I deeply and completely accept myself.
I deeply and profoundly accept myself.
There is a slight 3rd variation which is: I love and accept myself even though I have this_______________." I tend not to use it. As the ending starts off the set-up phrase.
My standard EFT Setup phrase is
Even though I have this _____________. I deeply and completely, love, forgive and accept myself.
Why Would You Want Other Endings?
Often somebody using EFT, can't say out loud or to themselves I deeply and completely accept myself. This in its self needs some EFT tapping. Yet, that's for another post.
My favorite 10 set-up endings, which I most regularly use are:
1. I choose to forgive myself for holding onto this and I choose to forgive those others that may have contributed to this in any way, shape or form.
2. I'm choosing to have compassion for myself even though I can't yet love and accept myself.
3. I accept all of me anyway.
4. I am still a good person.
5. I'm willing for this to change.
6. I'm willing to accept all of my feelings without judgment.
7. I'm ready to let go of it now.
8. I'm open to letting go of this now.
9. I choose to _____________. You can add a positive alternative emotion or say something to indicated movement towards your goal.
10. I totally love, accept and forgive myself.
From here, the world is your oyster. You can go wherever you mind takes you. You could easily combine 2 or 3 of the above to create a new set-up ending.
